How to make toast bread
Ingredients:
3.5 cups all-purpose flour
1.5 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 tablespoon instant yeast
1 tablespoon oil or melted butter
1.5 cups warm water (approximately)
In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt.
Add the yeast.
Add the oil, then gradually add the warm water, kneading until a smooth dough forms.
Knead the dough well for 7–12 minutes.
Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
Roll it up and place it in a greased loaf pan.
Cover it and let it rise again for 40 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 185°C (350°F).
Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool before slicing.
To ensure your toast is cooked moist, don't open the oven door for the first 20 minutes. Leave it closed for that long, and then you can use milk instead of water.
